What Do We Sell?

We sell a selected range of Photographic products

We sell two distinct categories of goods

New Products:

This is BRAND NEW stock supplied by UK suppliers. New products are complete with all standard manufacturers’ parts and accessories, in original and sealed packaging, and all supported by the manufacturers 12 month warranty.

Refurbished Products:

Selected products within our consumer electronics & photography ranges may be classed as ‘refurbished’. Every refurbished item on sale will have this clearly indicated in the title, subtitle or listing. All refurbished products are also supported by a manufacturer's warranty, unless otherwise stated.

Prices and Payment

  • All our prices are fully inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
    Our VAT number is GB 348 6228 34 and VAT invoices are provided.

  • For your own peace of mind and for Buyer Protection we ONLY accept payment via Paypal or Credit/Debit card. We do not accept cash, cheque, postal orders, bank transfer or any other payment method.

  • A payment confirmation will be sent once we have received cleared funds.

  • Only users registered in the UK are eligible to buy.

  • All orders are subject to stock availability at the time of shipping.

  • We reserve the right to vary our prices and charges. The total you pay is the total listed price at the time of order.


IMPORTANT NOTE: We will only deliver to the address at the time of order. Please ensure this address reflects your choice of delivery location. We are unable to change delivery address details once you have paid for your order.

All our orders are shipped via Royal Mail or DPD.

We will supply you with Tracking Information after shipping your item.

General Terms:

  • All items are despatched within 2 working days* from receipt of cleared payment.

  • Deliveries take place Monday to Friday 07.00 to 19.00 and must be SIGNED FOR.

  • Failed delivery attempts will be carded, and shown on the Royal Mail or DPD tracking page.
    You must contact Royal Mail or DPD to arrange re-delivery or collection.

  • Failed deliveries returned to us will be refunded within 7 days less any charges for delivery. Please contact us within this time to arrange re-delivery.

  • Any re-deliveries will be chargeable at the full cost of the original shipping or £4.99 if originally shipped free.

  • You will receive a despatch notification when your order ships and full tracking information will be provided for courier deliveries.

  • All delivery charges are to MAINLAND UK addresses only. We regret that we cannot deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Orkney, Shetland and Scottish Islands, BFPO addresses, P.O Box addresses or the Republic of Ireland.

*Working days are Monday to Friday and exclude weekends and public bank holidays.


We're committed to selling high-quality products we hope you'll enjoy using, but we also know that, for one reason or another, there may be a time when you need to exchange or return something you've bought.

Unwanted Purchases/Your Right to Cancel

  • You must notify us of your intent to cancel within 7 days of the date of delivery to your address.

  • Returned items must be in their original and unused condition, complete with all parts, accessories, original packaging and the original invoice.

  • A full refund of the order total will be processed.

  • The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and insurance.

  • Sorry, but audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed are excluded from this policy.

Faulty products

  • You must notify us that you are returning your order as soon as it develops a fault.

  • In the event of a fault developing within 14 days of purchase, a replacement will be sent or a full refund issued after receipt of the returned item and verification of the fault.

  • Should an item become faulty after 14 days of purchase but within the stated warranty period, we will, at our discretion, offer a repair, a replacement or a cost of item refund after receipt of the returned item and verification of the fault.

  • If the item is not found to have a manufacturing fault, or the fault is due to customer misuse, then no refund will be issued, and the buyer will be responsible for any fees for return shipping.

  • All replacements are subject to stock availability at the time of processing.

Incorrect Orders/Substitutes

  • In the unlikely event of receiving an incorrect order or substituted item, please accept our apologies and contact us to inform us of our mistake.

  • Please return the item in its original condition, and upon receipt and subject to stock, we will ship your correct item or offer a full refund.

General Terms:

  • A Returns Address is included on your invoice for your convenience.

  • For all returns, please include a reason for return or the nature of any fault(s), your order number, email address and your contact phone number.

  • Please detail your preference for a replacement or a refund and provide us with a daytime contact number should we need to contact you.

  • Please allow up to 7 working days to test and process all returns, and up to 28 working days for completion of any repairs.

The above policies do not affect your statutory rights.

Refurbished Products

Refurbished products represent amazing value for money, especially as we offer all our refurbished products with a Manufacturer's Warranty unless otherwise stated.

These products may be classed as refurbished for a number of reasons:

  • They may have been previously sold, and subsequently returned to another store and not put back on sale for cosmetic packaging reasons. This is often as little as a broken seal.

  • Alternatively, they may simply have incurred a minor amount of cosmetic packaging damage during handling in the day to day running of our business.

  • Some items may also have been returns from other stores with a reported fault or where a customer had difficulty in using.

All of these products are returned to certified testing facilities, examined and fully tested. Only products classified as fully tested, working, and complete are then made available for sale through Great Western Cameras Ltd. Any products that don’t meet these high standards are never sold through our Web site or retail stores. Some refurbished products are sold in non-original packaging.

The fact that Manufacturers guarantee the products means that you can purchase with full peace of mind.
