Designed for use with the Canon EOS 550D, 600D, 650D or 700D, the Hahnel HC-700D can take one or two LP-E8 (or equivalent) batteries (one in grip and one in camera) or six AA batteries. This is especially useful when taking advantage of the camera's movie mode or Live View mode which can be a drain on the battery life. Built-in power management regulates the power output to the camera for maximum efficiency. The power management detects use of Lithiuim-ion or AA batteries automatically. The Hahnel HC-700D comes with an Infrared Remote Control, allowing remote shooting within a range of up to 10-12m. The Remote Control Transmitter provides autofocus before shutter release, continuous shooting, and bulb function for as long as the button remains pressed. The HC-700D is also fitted with a vertical shutter release, making shooting with the camera in a vertical position just as comfortable as shooting horizontally. Batteries not included.

Power Management

Built-in Power Management regulates the power output to the camera for maximum efficiency. 1 or 2 Li-ion Battery Packs, even at different charge levels, can be used. The Power Management detects use of Li-ion or AA batteries automatically.
